  2. How is that Dabbang and MNIK get nominated for best picture and not Guzaarish. Fine Dabbang was "entertaing" but it definitely does not deserve a nomination. My Name is Khan was good but it was super corny. They killed a great movie by all the cheesiness.

  4. With guzaarish not being nominated for best film and Anuraag Basu not being nominated for his superb direction in Kites and the magnificent dance number - Fire - in Kites not making it amongst the top contenders in choreography shows how pathetic and narrow minded and downright unfair these award ceremonies have become. Only box office successes rule the day. If the film is a flop at the box office then even if it is a visual and artistic gem it will only receive a spattering of nominations in minor categories (if any at all). Awards must be based on merit and not box office accomplishments. Therefore these Apsra awards are not worth watching since they lack credibility. In addition to guzaarish and kites, films like udaan and do dooni char would also have received justified nominations. Shame on all of you! If this continues no one will want to make quality cinema ever again. And we will just be flooded with rubbish like Golmaals and Housefulls.

  5. According to some size doesnt matter..Avatar was considered to be a shoe in but Hurt Locker took the award for best picture..and director..so if things look lopsided boxoffice aside..it maybe a surprise.
