Inflationary Life

Darkness stabs
Randomly,
Aggression
Festered by fear.

Dearness
Nastily
Takes revenge
For all the
Goodness,
Tears fall
Becoming
Smoke
within no time.

Childhood scars
Tossed out of
Window of Convenience,
In the grown up world
Innocence is an aberration.

Smirk Daggers
Ruthlessly
Tear apart
Vestiges of
A sense of 'Belonging',
Only insanity
Cheers for selflessness.

Happiness
Can be
Clear or Crooked,
Doubts slither
Seductively,
How do I buy
A few moments
Of hope
From this
Inflationary life?

  1. Sir, I like the Philosophical touch in your poems. My most favourite line in this poem was "In the grown up world Innocence is an aberration".
