45th Birthday Wishes For Shahrukh Khan

For the last two years, this time of the day on November 2nd the entire media was parked inside mannat with a huge crowd gathered outside. Shahrukh graciously waved to them, answered all the queries of media, he cut all the cakes and ensured everyone had a good time. This year he is away and courtesy Twitter, his entire fan base from across the world is participating in celebrating his 45th Birthday to the hilt.

I have interviewed Shahrukh Khan thrice. He is a committed listener. Gives long detailed answers to each question and makes sure one gets a proper byte. Though personally I am not happy with either of the three interviews (maybe OSO one was wholesome to some extent). I would love to chat with him about his parents as thats an area that fills me with a lot of curiosity. Losing one's parents at a young age and overpowering all odds must have been quite a ride. This aspect of SRK hasn't been probed in detail even in the books written on him (closest comes Anupama Chopra's book on him). Maybe I shall get the coveted time with him soon.

I had asked you guys to send your wishes on Shahrukh's birthday. Your favourite films, scenes of SRK's movies. Which actress makes the best pair with him? For me Chak De India is SRK at his best. Do you think he should be doing more films with directors like Shimit Amin? What do you think of SRK as an actor and as a person? The response has been overwhelming. Tweets On Guzaarish Music Launch

Guzaarish Music Launch was definitely one of the better events of 2010. I had a great time listening and watching all the songs being performed. A lot of you guys really liked my tweets on the coverage so I thought of compiling all of them. Man, 32 tweets, some of you must have been cribbing about the Timeline woes. My apologies. But you gotta do what you gotta do. So, here are all the tweets on Guzaarish Music Launch. Hope you like the Bollywood Hungama Video coverage as well. Cheers!


1) On my way to Guzaarish musical evening.Tahir says the stage has been beautifully decorated.And No, we are not doing live coverage.

2) The set of Guzaarish music launch is wonderfully decorated (yet simple).Curtains r velvet green with lights all around.

4) In the Guzaarish music cd, Sanjay Bhansali has thanked music composer Jaidev and Lata Mangeshkar

17) Shail Hada (Assistant music director) n Rakesh Pandit sang 'Tera Zikr'.Jugalbandi between d 2 is Fantastic.Pleasure!
