As she is no less ...Finally someone has said that!! As she is no less than SHABANA AZMI, I guess (and I genuinely hope) she will be listened to. I am not a public figure and so had I said that no one would have cared, and what I feel would not be taken into account, even if is exactly what 99% of the population thinks. I have never taken award shows seriously as they are always unfair, but I remember as a kid I used to enjoy these shows a lot when they came on tv. Now it has become impossible for me to watch them - and forget about family. 1 or 2 jokes with sexual connotation might be ok, but when there are dozens of them (basically that kind of jokes ONLY), then it really becomes unbearable. It's not even funny. It looks like as if the people who have scripted the show are really nuts who can't think beyond sex. They are running so much out of ideas that they choose to have the sex element all throughout the show. A friend of mine who lives in France told me: "How pathetic, it's like India has just discovered sex and so they are trying to put that aspect everywhere: in films, in music, in ads, in award shows... Overkill. So cheap. That's like French sense of humor (which is often very crass), but Indian award shows used to be so much fun earlier without these absurdities!" That's exactly the way I feel!

Anyway, thank you Sir for this interview, I have huge respect for you and Shabana Azmi ji. Keep it up!Naqinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-589300215493185670.post-43516058832106552112012-06-12T21:59:41.605+05:302012-06-12T21:59:41.605+05:30That one is on the run...she has some very valid p...That one is on the run...she has some very valid points i agree with in terms of perception..well doneMis4Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05723574577204580566noreply@blogger.com
