Comforting Fire Of Responsible Love

As she slipped
Her little fingers
In my hands
I felt stronger,
The touch of trust
Like the
Snow white innocence
Gently lit up
The comforting fire
Of responsible love
Child is father
Of the man
Is a realisation
That dawns
With experience;
The soft smile
Heals insecurities
A cozy snuggle
Bolsters energies
Unsolicited advice
Smeared with wisdom
Crackling chirpiness
A swimming pool of happiness
Embracing your sickness
Without a whimper
A glass of water
When you need it the most
If there's true love
Its Her...
May God bless her!

  1. Thanks Nitish, well u will hav to tak e following lines together to understand the context:

    The comforting fire
    Of responsible love
    Child is father
    Of the man
    Is a realisation
    That dawns
    With experience;

    responsible love comes from being a parent. 'child is father of the man' is a famous line written by William Wordswoth n i m saying u realise the true meaning of these lines only when you become a parent...hope its more clear
